William M. Bradford (Bill), 67, husband of Leanne (Dellaquila) Bradford of Spring City, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Born on October 5, 1957, in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Dean G. and Maryanne (Rudick) Bradford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Bill, husband of Domenica, and Jesse Bradford; his brother, Dean B., husband of Tina; and his sister, Tara, wife of William Ingram.
A graduate of Northern Chester County Technical School, Class of 1975, a man of strong character, Bill worked as a Control Room Operator for PECO - Exelon Company at Cromby Station for thirty years. He was a very talented guitarist and fan of the rock group The Who. Bill served as Captain of the Bradford Hunting Club, a 150-year-old family-run club. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, attending NASCAR races, and Flyers hockey games. A devoted husband and incredible father, he was also a beloved grandfather to three-year-old Isabel and one-year-old Lily, who called him “Pee-Paw.”
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ty Bradford.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with Very Rev. Peter Paproski officiating. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
