Virginia Murray

Virginia R. (Linder) Murray, 97, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Seasons Hospice. She was the wife of the late Charles L. Murray.

Born on July 4, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Rose (Marsh) Linder.

Virginia was a devout member of the former St. Leo Catholic Church in Tacony. She enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD, gardening, baking, walking and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her grandson, David and wife Ann Kern; great grandsons: Michael Kern and Joseph Kern; sisters: Connie Jefferson and Marilyn Embry.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy L. Kern wife of Robert Kern and brothers Vernon Linder, Raymond Linder, and James Linder

A Funeral Service will be held at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am
