Valbruna Tongiani

Valbruna (Palli) Tongiani, 99. wife of the late Giuseppe Tongiani passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Born on September 27, 1922 in Brisighella, Ravenna, Italy she was the daughter of the late Tullio and Malvina (Piancastelli) Palli.

Valbruna was an accomplished Embroider.  When she lived in Italy she would often be commissioned to do work for embroidery houses and churches.

She came to Phoenixville from Italy in 1956 and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

She is survived by 2 children:
Bruno husband of Roseann Tongiani;
Marzia wife of Thomas Mirabile, Jr.

2 Grandchildren:  Paul husband of Chiarina Tongiani and Matthew husband of Allison Tongiani.

2 Great-grandchildren:  Leona and Vera.

Nieces and nephews in Italy.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Tongiani, sisters, Velia Palli and Vittorina Palli, and brother, Bruno Palli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Masks are required when in St. Ann Church.

Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in church on Thursday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
