Toni Louise Marchionne

Toni Louise Marchionne,72, of New York City, passed away while she slept in her apartment on August 16, 2021. Born in Royersford, PA she is the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Mary N. (Di Guiseppe) Marchionne.
Toni Louise attended Sacred Heart School in Royersford and a graduate of St. Pius X High School, Pottstown PA. She entered Fisher College in Boston. While there she was inspired, after her successful performance of Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet", to pursue a Career in the Arts. Her performance in the Boston Theatre Workshop production of "Creation" won the New England theatre Conference Award/APA award ( W.G.B.H.).
Toni acted in a series of six Children's Television Shows entitled "How can I Tell You".
Toni was a resident of NYC for 43 years. While there she played parts in "All My Children", "Catch 44" , and "How Can I tell You" She also worked in the films: Star Dust", "Arthur" and " No Small Matter". Her book of Poems "One Humble Step" was printed in 1972.
Always adventurous, in 1971 she traveled to Italy. As she hiked through Italy she visited the small village of Tufo where the Di Guisseppe brothers emigrated from Italy to Royersford and Phoenixville.
A lover of Nature, her favorite times were those spent outdoors, Though a resident of "Big Apple", Toni treasured her roots as a "small town girl", who loved visiting friends and family in the Borough of Royersford.
Toni was predeceased by her sister Catherine Stevens of Stowe, PA and survived by her two sisters, Mary (Clifton) Eckhardt of Bath, PA and Josephine Marchionne SSJ of Philadelphia. Nephews, John (Eugenia) Wilgeroth of Wind Gap, Joseph (Tina), Jacob, Jarrett, and niece, Sydney Wilgeroth of Texas and James (Laura) Kuterbach of DuBois, PA and Aunts and Cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:30 am
Burial will follow in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, Septemeber 25, 2021 from 9:45 to 10:30 am.
