Thomas Nuss, Sr.

Thomas Edward Nuss, Sr  sunrise 1-9-1931 sunset 1-10-2021

Known by all who knew him as Ed. Was Born in Roxborough son of Dorothy Minerva Nuss . Raised in Norristown he Graduated from Norristown High School class of 1949 . Was a member of the US Army National Guard reserve. After high school he began and completed his apprenticeship in Tool and Dye making at Sythane-Taylor in Oaks ,Pa, Also worked at the John Stiemer Company in Kimberton and Autocar Trucks in Exton.

He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years  Anna Marie (McCourt) Nuss and is survived by his sons, Charles E. and Thomas E. ,Jr. Daughters, Connie M. (Nuss) Drumheller and Robin M. Nuss. Granddaughter Monique L. ( Nuss ) Hails and 2 great grand daughters and a great grand son.

Mr. Nuss played semi-pro Volleyball , Later raced Go-karts and was a member of the Ches-Mont Kart Club in the 1960s. He was a avid slow pitch softball player . He also had a love for fast cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles .

Mr. Nuss passed at home after a lengthy illness.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends and his dog Oscar. All that knew will miss his humor and great heart.
