Thomas W. Gratz

Thomas W. Gratz, 82, husband of the late Marguerite (Wambold) "Bunny" Gratz of Audubon, PA passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Born on May 26, 1942 in Norristown, PA he was the son of the late Bertram and Elizabeth (Snyder) Gratz.

Tom was a Police Officer for Lower Providence Police Department.

He was a member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church, American Legion Post 602, and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 14.

Tommy loved going to the casinos, playing Bingo, and going out to eat with his past neighbors, friends, and nephews. The last 2 years he resided in Shannondell assisted living. He made friends with patients and staff alike. They jokingly called him the MAYOR of Shannondell, he was given a large Button (Mayor of Shannondell ) which he wore daily. 

He is survived by his brother, David husband of Nancy Gratz.

Sister-in-law, Dorothy (Sue) Wambold.

Several nieces and nephews.

Best friends, John Haley and Joe Hector.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bertram Gratz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426 on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm.

Burial will be private.

A visitation will be held in church on Thursday from 11:00 to 12:00 pm.
