Theresa M. (Klem) Zubris, 89, wife of the late Walter Zubris of Oaks, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Columbia Cottage.
Born April 23, 1932, in Gilberton, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Lapachinsky) Klem.
Theresa is survived by her daughters, Josita, wife of Todd Miller and Kimberly, wife of David Quay; four grandchildren Tricia, Jessica, Matthew, and Sara.
She was also survived by her sisters, Leona Klem and Denise Klem; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rita Katulis and Eleanor O’Shura and a brother, Joseph Klem.
Theresa retired from Moore Products in 1994, after which she spent time traveling with friends and family to different areas in the US and in Europe. Theresa also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; including attending school activities and sports games.
Theresa always enjoyed returning to her hometown area, in Pennsylvania’s coal region, where she enjoyed attending all the small town picnics and events which included seeing old friends and lots of ethic food. She especially enjoyed listening to the Polka music and dancing.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
A visitation will be held in church on Monday from 9:45 am 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Drive Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
