Theresa Yednock

January 22, 1934 — July 28, 2020

Theresa M. (Scaringi) Yednock passed away peacefully on July 28, 2020.  Born on January 22, 1934 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, for over 50 years she was the loving wife of the late Andrew F. Yednock.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie (Zappone) Scaringi.

Theresa was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Phoenixville.  For many years, she faithfully served as a Eucharistic Minister.

She attended St. Mary’s Grade School in Phoenixville, and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Norristown, Class of 1952.

In her younger years, she worked at various jobs.  She was a Dental Assistant, she also worked at Bakers Biscuit Co. in Phoenixville and Philco in Spring City.  After many years as a homemaker she returned to work at Country Tyme Day Care.  She enjoyed following sports and attending sporting events with her family.  She also loved dancing and listening to music, especially Big Band music.

What she held most dear was God, her faith, and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanmarie, wife of Thomas Garman, Phoenixville.

She was loved by many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

She is preceded in death by brothers Louis Scaringi, Daniel Scaringi, Thomas Scaringi and Joseph Scaringi, and sisters Annmarie Suzenski, Annette Mercer, and Dolores Hess.

A viewing will be held at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 8:30 to 9:30 am.  A limited number of guests will be permitted in at a time.  Those waiting outside are asked to please follow the social distancing guidelines.

A Private family service will follow and burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA.
