Susan Mittnacht

Susan A. “Sue” Mittnacht, 60, of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully Friday, December 10, 2021 in Paoli Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Phoenixville, PA on September 9, 1961 she was a daughter of John G. Mittnacht and the late Margaret J. (Hayer) Mittnacht.

Sue was employed with Houghton International for many years and had recently obtained her certification in Internal Auditing. She was a member of the Eastern PA Bead Society. She enjoyed trips to the beach and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and extended family. She especially enjoyed the companionship of her dog, Sadie for many years.

In addition to her father, she is survived by seven brothers and sisters:

Andrew Mittnacht

Robert Mittnacht

Her loving companion of 10 years, Jim Simm; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles J. “Chuck” Mittnacht, who passed away 6 days prior.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Drive, Coatesville, PA on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Masks will be required in church at the request of the family.

Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville, PA.

A viewing will be held in church on Thursday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m.
