Steven Varady

Steven Varady, 88, husband of Rosa Lee (Hart) Varady of East Vincent passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 in Seasons Hospice.

Born on August 15, 1932 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Alex and Bertha (Varadi) Varady.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a Transfer Operator at McAvoy Brick in Phoenixville, PA until his retirement and belonged to American Brick and Glass Union.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 sons:
Steven Lee Varady;
Arthur Wade Varady;
David Ambrose Varady.

2 Grandchildren, Erica Mae Varady and Steven Lee Varady, Jr.

3 Great-grandchildren, Rylee Lynn Varady, Lillian Joy Varady, and Hayden Matthew Varady.

3 Sisters, Margaret Sturdevant, Lucy Fortunato, and Mary Varady.

He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, twin brother, Emery Varady, Bertha Kalamon, Alex Varady, and Ethel Nemeth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 6:00 pm.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.
