Stephen Potoczniak, 97, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Tuesday evening, August 28, 2018 at Park House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on May 15, 1921 in Phoenixville to the late Demetro and Julie (Chopiadlo) Potoczniak.
Steve served in the U. S. Army during World War II and then worked at the former Phoenix Steel Corp.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
He is survived by: sisters, Anna Bednarczyk of Phoenixville and Julie Kilyk of Pittsburgh. Also several nieces and nephews and their families.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
A viewing will be held in the church on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
