Sonja Varady

Sonja M. (Sturdevant) Varady, 79, of Phoenixville, PA wife of Emery Varady, Sr. died on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Paoli Hospital.

Born on March 4, 1940 in Owego, New York she was the daughter of the late Walter and Eliza (Woodruff) Sturdevant.

She was a member of Friendship Hook and Ladder in Royersford

In addition to her husband she is survived by:

Son, Emery Varady, Jr (Deborah);

Daughter, Sonja Marlene Haldren;

Son, Bryan Varady (Robert);

Daughter, Kimberly Law;

Son, Rodney Varady;

6 Grandchildren:

Chris, Robert, Russ, Keith, Ashley, and Jordan.

9 Great-Grandchildren:

Tamira, Sydney, Jenna, Robbie, Sebastian, Toni, Anthony, Elek, and Zane.

1 Great-great grandson, Elliot.

Sisters, Bunny and Evelyn.

Preceded in death by son, Jeffrey Varady and brothers and sister, Roy, Winnie, Jake, Charles, Jimmy, and Frank.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
