Sondra Miller Thomson, age 79, enjoyed a full life. She passed away in her home on Friday, May 13, 2016. She enjoyed being with people and having a good laugh with her friends. She was a registered nurse and worked in the field of pediatrics for over 20 years, until her retirement.
Over the years she was an active participant in the Powderhorn Garden Club, Phoenixville Country Club, Valley Forge United Methodist Church, The afternoon Music Club of Phoenixville, and the investment club, The "Valley Forge Women of Wall Street". She was also active in the Coldstream Crossing community.
She is survived by her husband, Edward T. Thomson, son Douglas and Daughter-in-law Dolores of Waterford Works, N.J. and son Christopher and daughter-in-law Jane of Lincoln, Nebraska. And two grand children, Hayden and Carter Thomson of Lincoln Nebraska. Also by her dear friend of many years, Linda Maguire.
Services are private and contributions may be made to the Valley Forge Methodist Church, PO Box 820, Valley Forge, PA 19482 or to the Afternoon Music Club of Phoenixville, Ms. Barbara Doughty, 1060 Balfour Circle, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
