Sheila A. Larkin

SHEILA ANN LARKIN

July 10, 1953 - December 25, 2023

Sheila Ann Larkin was born on July 10, 1953 to Thomas C. and Dolores Larkin. She

graduated in 1971 from Bishop Shanahan High School.

After graduation, she worked at Ken Crest Center for a number of years, then at the

Mansion House Hotel in Phoenixville for several years as their head cook. Later,

she worked at Aqua Water Company, concurrently attending night school to earn a

B.A. in business. She took a medical retirement from Southeastern Veterans' Center

(Spring City), and she passed away on December 25, 2023 at Rehab at Shannondell,

Audubon, PA, from colon cancer. She lived in Phoenixville and the surrounding

area 53 years.

Sheila loved to cook. She loved Elvis. She loved animals, especially horses, cats and

Dachshunds. Over the course of her lifetime, she owned parakeets, cats, dachshunds

and horses. She loved horses and learned to ride at an early age. She loved Elvis.

She also loved to read and to crochet. Most of what she crocheted she donated to

charity. She loved Elvis. She loved jewelry from her early days, and pewter was her

first choice when she bought earrings. And she loved Elvis. Her kindness, compas-

sion and sense of humor are remembered by those who knew her. She will be sorely

missed and fondly remembered.

She is survived by siblings Chris (Anne), Clare Van Loon (Carey), Bruce, and Tom

(Nadine); nieces Michelle and Sarah Larkin and Stevie Hughes; and nephews Jus-

tin Hughes and Liam Van Loon. She was predeceased by her parents, and by sisters

Eileen Larkin and Carol Hughes.
