Scott DeShong

Scott L. DeShong, 51, husband of Jennifer J. (Baran) DeShong of Chester Springs, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Born on March 11, 1970 in Coatesville, PA he was the son of Pearl G. (Wagner) DeShong and the late Bryan I. DeShong.

He graduated from Twin Valley High School and was a Steelworker for Johnson Matthey, Inc. in West Chester.

Scott was an awesome husband and dad.  He enjoyed hunting and golf.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a daughter:
Katie DeShong.

Brother, Douglas DeShong.

Nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth W. DeShong and Terry DeShong.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 1:30 pm.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

Masks will be required for all those attending the viewing and service.
