Sandra Ferko-Hillegass

Sandra J. (Stubanas) Ferko-Hillegass, 61, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Richard Hillegass, whom she married on Sunday, January 2, 2022 after many years of companionship.

Born March 12, 1960 in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of Thomas Stubanas and Jean Marie (Campbell) Trzcinski.

Sandy was employed as a Hazmat Responder with UPS for many years. She could always be found working and maintaining her garden, swimming pool, and home. She enjoyed watching Richard's drag races and loved her many pets at home.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Gary Ferko, Matthew Ferko, Felicia Dellaquila; and her brothers and sisters, Debra Osting, Jean Marie Witt, Lisa Girafalco, Thomas Stubanas, David Trzcinski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be held privately for the family in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
