Rozanne Marie McKeever

Rozanne Marie McKeever, born on April 2, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

Rozanne is lovingly remembered by her sons, Keith Miehlke (Danielle) and Mark Miehlke (Tracy); her cherished grandchildren, Santana and Keith, her brother Lawrence McKeever (Donna), and her sisters Patricia Hoban (Edward) and Regina Donahue (Andrew). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Emma McKeever, her sister Emma, and her brothers William, Eugene, and Michael.

A dedicated educator, Rozanne earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Immaculata University and went on to achieve Master's Degrees from both the University of Miami and Villanova University. She devoted 32 years to teaching mathematics in the Norristown Area School District, where she was admired by students and colleagues alike for her passion and commitment to education.

Rozanne found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her favorite moments were spent on the beaches of Sea Isle City, where she watched her brothers and nephews lifeguard, and delighted in sitting at the water’s edge with a good book or a crossword puzzle while watching her family enjoy the sunshine. She spent a small fortune on those beaches by buying treats from the Fudgy Wudgy Man for any children (and adults) fortunate enough to be near her.

Honoring Rozanne's very clear wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services. Instead, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date to allow friends and family ample time to gather without urgency. She wanted smiles and laughing and music and seafood, not tears.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to the Norristown Area High School Scholarship Fund as a tribute to Rozanne's lifelong dedication to education. The link can be found below. This gesture ensures that her legacy continues by helping students pursue their academic dreams. Her family can think of no action more appropriate to honor her life.
