Rose Wilkinson

Rose F. (Fedyk) Wilkinson, 94, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Pottstown Hospital.

Born on July 7, 1927 in Birchrunville, PA she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie (Chadaj) Fedyk.

She was a Secretary for the United States Army at Fort Meade for over 35 years.

She was a long time Parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pottstown, PA.

Rose loved to travel the United States and Europe and enjoyed playing scratch-off lottery tickets.

She is survived by her twin sister, Anne Scott and younger sister, Sophie Pechin, niece, Pam wife of Mike Estes and nephew, Jeff husband of Carolyn Knipe.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Burdette, brother, Michael Fedyk, and sisters, Mary McCabe and Helen Knipe.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday July 27, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the Gathering Center at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will take place immediately following Mass in St. Ann Cemetery, 305 Pothouse Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s memory to Saint Aloysius Church, 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
