Robert C. Motzer, 64, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen Marie (Sendecki) Motzer, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.
Born on October 10, 1952 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Hans W. and Elsie V. (Hinkle) Motzer.
He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1970, and received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Penn State University.
Bob was a Phoenixville Police Officer for 15 years, and then supervisor of security for Lockheed Martin retiring from there in 2012.
He started as a Junior Fireman, then to Fireman and became an intregal part of the Diving Rescue Unit of Friendship Fire Company where he was Chief until his passing.

son, Joseph Motzer of Phoenixville, PA,
brother, Kenneth husband of Linda Motzer of Royersford, PA,
brother, Ronald husband of Barbara Motzer of Phoenixville, PA,
and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.
