Rita M. (Jefferis) Bommarito

Rita M. (Jefferis) Bommarito, 83, wife of the late Clementi A. Bommarito of Spring City, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at The Landing at Collegeville.

Born on February 23, 1939 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward Jefferies, Sr. and Helen (Byrne) Jefferis.

She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.

She was a Receptionist at Phoenixville Manor and then Tri-County Active Adult Center in Pottstown, PA.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Spring City where she found comfort.

She was a NY Giants fan, enjoyed yearly trips to Hershey Park, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  Rita also enjoyed watching "her stories" after work.

She is survived by 3 children:

Michelle wife of Bruce Hoffmaster;

Dominic husband of Vanessa Bommarito;

Helen Marie Bommarito.

6 Grandchildren:  Alissa, Joseph, Lily, Olivia, Jack, and Brooklyn.

Brother, Edward husband of Ethel Jefferis.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Danielle Bommarito, grandson, Connor, and sister, Bernice Winnick.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 10:30 am with Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating.

Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in church on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:15 am.
