Richard Mason Jr., age 59, of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully among loved ones on Friday, October 21, 2016.
Rich is survived by his wife, Susan Mason; mother, Evelyn Mason; children Ashley Kington (Graham) and Ricky Mason (Kim).
Richard was born on April 4, 1957 in Drexel Hill, PA. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1980 with a degree in Marketing. He went on to pursue a career in global marketing where he had the opportunity to travel the world.
Richard was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband, father, and son. He and his wife Susan recently celebrated their 33 year anniversary on October 1st.
Rich was a fun-loving, gentle man who loved life and his family. Growing up in Westtown, he was involved in Boy Scouts of America, counseling at Camp Horse Shoe and camping all through the United States. He loved the outdoors and earned the rank of eagle scout. His love for the outdoors carried into adulthood. Whether he was golfing, taking care of the lawn or laying by the pool you could always find Rich outside with a smile on his face and a beer in his hand. His humor and ability to make people laugh will remain with us forever.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Devlin Funeral Home. There will be a calling hour from 10-11 followed by a service from 11-11:30. The service will be followed by a luncheon at DaVinci's Pub located at 217 East Main Street, Collegeville, PA.
