Phyllis (Deery) Kurylak, 86, wife of Joseph M. Kurylak of Phoenixville, PA died on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Born on March 1, 1934 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Ethel M. (Pennypacker) Deery.

She worked as the church Secretary at Centennial Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kimberton, PA for 35 years.

She was a member of Centennial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Phoenixville Senior Center, and Phoenixville Hospital Senior Circle.

Phyllis loved to knit and was proud to have donated 200 plus afghans to the Orphan Grain Train for distribution at home and abroad.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 4 sons:

Christopher husband of Ruth Kurylak;

Michael husband of Jan Kurylak;

P.J. husband of Donna Kurylak;

Robert Kurylak.

4 Grandchildren, Alex, Matthew, John, and Taliah.

3 Great-grandchildren, Matthew, Oliver, and Cyler.

She was preceded in death by brother, Jacob Rennard Deery, II and sisters, Anna May Zinger and Dorothy Deery.

Funeral Service and burial will be private.
