Paul J. McCann, Jr.

Paul J. McCann, Jr., 72, husband of Linda L. (Scott) McCann of Elverson, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

Born on January 29, 1950 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Paul J. Sr and Florence (McMahon) McCann.  Paul worked as a Machinist for Wyeth and then McNeil Pharmaceuticals before retiring in 2010.  He was a former member of the West End Fire Company and the Elverson Fire Company. He enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and tinkering around and fixing things. He loved riding motorcycles and Jeeps. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by 2 sons, Jason (Jennifer) and Paul (Melinda).  He was fondly known as Pop Pop to his 4 grandchildren, Rachel, Kara, Declan, and Mera.

He is also survived by his siblings Pauline Bader, Maurice McCann, Elizabeth Satterfield, and Mary Romanelli, his sister-in-law Diane Hamlin, and brother-in-law Ken Scott (Shirl).

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryder Jacob McCann and 3 brothers, Anthony McCann, Edward McCann, and Robert McCann.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service in St. Ann Cemetery, 305 W. Pothouse Road, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, August 20 at 1pm.
