Osmond "Oz" Mincarelli, Jr.

Osmond "Oz" Mincarelli, Jr. age 78, husband of Kathleen E. (Kenney) Mincarelli of Phoenixville passed away on Friday , January 17, 2025.

Born in Norristown, PA on August 10, 1946, he was a son of the late Osmond Sr. and Rose (Picone) Mincarelli.

Oz worked for Federal Express in King of Prussia and at the same time he proudly served and retired after 25 years of service from the PA National Guard. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, the NRA, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1564 in Phoenixville. He enjoyed music, often playing his "air instruments". He loved spending each morning listening to smooth jazz, especially Kenny G.

Oz was a history enthusiast and loved trivia. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and season ticket holder and mostly enjoyed spending the sporting events with his sons.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Osmond Mincarelli, III and wife Erin; grandchildren: Taegen and Gemma; many nieces, nephews and his Goddaughter Deana Megella.

Oz was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Mincarelli in 2019.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 10:30 am with Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 am.
