Michael P. "Mickey" Mastrangelo, 87, husband of Elizabeth J. (Allie) Mastrangelo of Phoenixville, PA passed away at home on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
He was born in Phoenixville on April 24, 1934 to the late Paul Mastrangelo, Sr. and Margaret (Dobra) Mastrangelo. Mickey owned and operated The Trio Restaurant on Bridge Street in Phoenixville for many years and then worked for Devault Foods until he retired. He was a founding member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, was Chairman of the Phoenixville Republican Committee, and loved to cook, go fishing and listen to country music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Sheri wife of William Jampo and Sharen wife of Jeff Conrad; 8 grandchildren: Kendal Conrad, Karly Conrad, Kyler Conrad, Philip Jampo, Andrew Jampo, Monica Jampo, Jude Jampo, and Sophia Jampo.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele Hawes, brother, Paul Mastrangelo Jr., and sister, Laura Fitzcharles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gary Pacitti officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
