Maryann (Baker) Boyd, 80, of Spring City, PA, died on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Chester Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation, Paoli, PA.
Born on November 2, 1936 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Geib) Baker.
Maryann had a long career in teaching for almost 60 years. She enjoyed many longtime friendships, her friends were always there for her when she needed them. Her church was also important in her life.
Surviving are,
daughter, Laurie Boyd of Spring City, PA,
son, Christopher Boyd of San Jose, CA,
brother, Thomas Baker and wife Debbie of Strasburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Baker husband of Cathey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Centennial Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1330 Hares Hill Road, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
