Mary Lou Tate

Mary Lou (Wachowski) Tate, 79, wife of Russell O. Tate of Pottstown, PA passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at home.

Born on October 19, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Woyden) Wachowski.

She was a graduate of St. Matthew's High School in Conshohocken, PA.

She was a Secretary for General Electric in King of Prussia, Dr. Ginsberg's office, and the Collegeville Inn.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and Pottstown Area Garden Club.

Mary Lou was a Ski Instructor for over 20 years at Doe Mountain.  She was an avid gardener, she took many continuing education courses in horticulture at Longwood Gardens.  She was a plant judge for the Kimberton Fair for over 30 years.

In addition to her husband of 53 years she was the loving mother, Steven husband of Sharon Tate.

Grandson, Timothy husband of Kelley Keenan.

Sister, Constance Lenzi and brother, Joseph husband of Peg Wachowski.

Niece and nephews, Kurt, Bill, Emily, Deanna, and their families.

Preceded in death by her brother, Edward Wachowski.

Funeral Services will be private.
