Mary Louise (Yoder) Owens, 86, wife of the late Donald E. Owens, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at home.
Born on August 31, 1930 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte (Butz) Yoder.
Mary Louise was a graduate of Norristown High School.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Phoenixville, and a member of the Ladies Auxillary. She also volunteered at St. Mary School.
She was a Brownie Troop Leader, and she enjoyed bowling.
She was loved by her children, grandchildren, family, and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed all kind of family events. She also enjoyed going to the beach with her dear friend Catherine Dambacher.

daughter, Genevieve wife of Michael Walsh of Wilmington, DE,
daughter, Nancy wife of Wayne Sergent of Elverson, PA,
4 grandchildren,
Daniel Walsh,
Katherine Walsh,
Ashley Sergent,
Amanda Sergent,
sister, Nancy Landes
and brother, Charles Yoder.
She was preceded in death by brother, William Yoder.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
A viewing will be held in the church on Friday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2004 Sproul Road, Suite 208, Broomall, PA 19008, or to Hospice Compassus, 1234 W. Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382.
