Mary (Tarchanik) Lucas, 95, wife of the late Alexander Lucas, a longtime resident of Phoenixville, PA, died on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Glen Mills Senior Living.
Born on August 9, 1921 in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Danko) Tarchanik.
She worked at the former Firestone Tire Company and Valley Forge Army Hospital.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Phoenixville, PA.
Surviving are,
niece, Martha L. DeMedio,
great-niece, Karen and husband Timothy Pelter,
great-nephew, David and wife Jennifer DeMedio,
2 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alexander Lucas, Jr., sisters, Anna Tarchanik and Susan Minoske.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
A viewing will be held in the church on Friday morning from 8:45 am to 9:45 am.
