Mae E. "Mary" (Allen) Griffin, 87, wife of the late Whitaker Griffin, Sr., of Phoenixville, PA, died on Friday, March 10, 2017 in Phoenixville Hospital.
Born on May 1, 1929 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edbert and Mary (Gilmore) Allen.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Phoenixville, PA.
She is survived by step-children,
Mary Ann Wolfe of Rochester, NY,
Whitaker Griffin, Jr., of Bethlehem, PA,
Andrea Johnson of Seabrook, MD,
Denise Birckhead of Pottstown, PA,
Jennifer Nesmith of Philadelphia, PA,
and 11 grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Bethel Baptist Church, 412 Fairview Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Nathan Coleman officiating.
Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
Relatives and Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
