Mary R. Gabrill, devoted wife of the late Charles (Gib) Gabrill died peacefully at Sacred Heart Senior Living Center. Mary recently celebrated her 103rd birthday before entering divine peace on Tuesday, January 7 th , 2025.

Mary was born on November 27, 1921, to the late John and Rose (Cutillo) Coccia and grew up in Phoenixville.

In 1948, Mary married Gib Gabrill. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and loving wife for 74 years until Gib’s passing in 2022. Mary continued to live in the home that they had built until August of 2024.

Mary was a devoted Catholic and one of the original members of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church. She prayed the rosary every evening for many years. Mary was committed to her family and spent her life helping her parents, family members, and friends whenever needed. She loved to cook and bake for others.

Mom Mom was a loving grandmom and great grandmom.

  • Keith Kassel and wife Emily;
  • Kris Kassel and wife Kelly;
  • Kaitlynn Kassel;

  • Great Grandchildren:  Lilah, Nora, Evelyn, Kaeden, Harper, Preston, Genna, Everly, Jackson, Haley, Connor, Carter, Makenzie, and Cole.

  • Many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Josephine Ricci, Nancy Pannella, Anne Fiorvanti, Rose Fillippo, Joan Heim, Peter Coccia, Anthony Coccia, John Coccia, Eugene Coccia, and Ernest Coccia.

Prior to her marriage to Gib she was married to Vince Kuleski, a member of the Naval Reserve who died in combat in 1943 in World War ll.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10:30 am.

Entombment will follow in Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Limerick Gardens.

A viewing will be held in church on Wednesday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family Pillars Hospice, 3910 Adler Place, Suite 130 Bethlehem, PA 18017.
