Mary D. (Robish) Glowacki, 92, wife of the late Louis F. "Chops" Glowacki, of Phoenixville, PA died on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Woodbridge Place.
Born on March 6, 1927 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Parvensky) Robish.
Mary was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church for the past 50 years where she was a member of the Rosary Society, Woman's Club, and decorating committee. She spent much time at the school serving lunch meals, cleaning the church, helping with church functions such as picnics and bazaars. Also, she was a helping hand to the retired sisters that were in residence in the church convent. She served on multiple committees.
Mary worked at the West Company in Phoenixville until the start of her own family and then returned to work later in life where she spent years at AMP in Devon.
Mary was a loving wife and mother and extended that loving way to her parents as they aged, her friends and neighbors. She spent much time with her grandchildren and as they grew continued to support their eating habits with their favorite foods and sweets. She was one not to stay idle for long as you could always find her in the kitchen making some special ethnic foods or baking a cake or pie for someone's birthday or just because they had a love for her goods. She was a great friend to many because of her gentle way and listening ear.
She is survived by 3 children:
Son, Mark husband of Cathy Glowacki;
Daughter, Mary wife of the late Greg Hanson;
Daughter, Michele wife of Thomas Sheehan;
6 Grandchildren:
Matthew, Brett, Steven, Kyle, Meghan, and Danny.
