Mark Edward Whalen

Mark E. Whalen, 67, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Phoenixville Hospital, PA. 

Born on July 25, 1956, in Urbana, IL the son of the late Robert Whalen and Mary Lou (Tempel) Whalen. 

Mark worked at AXS, a premier global ticketing platform, for over 24 years as a Senior Product Support Engineer. 

He is survived by two sisters and a brother (and their spouses): Julia Ohlsson (Dave), Paul Whalen (Laura), and Mary Beth Whalen-Kerf (Dave). Mark also had many nieces and nephews: Karl & Robert (Lindsay) Ohlsson, Rachel (Chris) Green, Andrew & Wesley Whalen, and Anna & Maxwell Kerf. Great niece and nephews: Trent Ohlsson(in Heaven), Daphne & Dylan Ohlsson, and River Green. 

Mark is also survived by Judy Dalton, his former wife and dear friend. Mark's local family is devastated, including Ann, Clark, David and John Cooper, Gordy, Anne Marie, Michael Burke, Mark Zwick, Rick Prince and spouses. 

Though we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the wonderful life he lived and the impact he had as a professional in his industry and especially on his family and friends that loved him dearly. 

A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
