Marie Coyle

Marie Coyle, 103, beloved wife of the late Francis J. Coyle, of Phoenixville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in her residence.

Born on September 8, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA she was the last surviving daughter of the late Justice and Mary (Warrington) Spicer.

Marie was an active member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, joining the parish in 2003. She loved travel and enjoyed helping raise her family over the years. She also appreciated a good glass of wine.

She is survived by 5 children:

Marybeth wife of Bill Ivey;

Patricia wife of Walter Schoppe;

Margaret wife of Kevin Savidge ;

Michele Coyle;

Francis husband of Betty Coyle.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Hester O'Brien.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.

A viewing will be held in the church on Thursday from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marie may be made to St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
