Marian E. Menkins, 88, wife of the late William J. Menkins, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Born on February 27, 1936 in Malvern, PA she was the daughter of the late Clarence L. and Lillian M. (Raby) Rittenbaugh.

Marian worked at Wyeth Laboratories, Malvern, PA for 19 years in the Pharmaceutical Department. She continued working for New Century Bank in Administration until retirement. She loved working in the Business field and you could always find her doing paperwork.

She loved shopping and was an avid garage saler. She liked going for rides through the countryside on a Sunday afternoon. She looked forward to Sunday family dinners and having movie night where she always told the ending. She loved going to and hosting parties with her friends and family as well as attending theater shows. She was an avid reader and was very versed on many topics. She did volunteer work within the community and every year would have a garage sale with proceeds going to St. Jude.

She traveled occasionally on family trips up North and down South but home was where she loved to be. She loved spending time with her family and cherished the time with her husband of 70 years.

She is survived by 5 children:Belinda L. Lindsay; Sheila A. Menkins,  William J. Menkins, Jr.,  Gary L. husband of Linda Menkins, Michael D. husband of Mary Menkins; 8 Grandchildren: Heather L. Lindsay, wife of Mark Buckwalter, John T. Treacy, husband of Korr, David M. Menkins, William J. Menkins, III and Kimberly, Amanda C. Menkins, wife of John Bokosky, Jason A. Menkins, Daniel J. Menkins, husband of Paige, Ryan M. Menkins and Rachel; 19 Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Menkins, Sr. and her granddaughter, Kristen L. Lindsay, Brothers: Clarence Rittenbaugh, Jr., Gerald Rittenbaugh and sister: Mary Ann Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 am. A Visitation will he held in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

Marian will be laid to rest with her beloved husband William at Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA at a later date.
