Margaret K. "Marge" Scaduto

Margaret "Marge" K. (Madyar) Scaduto, 84, beloved wife of Joseph Scaduto of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Born on December 19, 1937 in Bridgeport, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Kachmar) Madyar.

Margaret worked as a babysitter for many years. She was an avid dancer, enjoying the Polka and even winning a Twist contest. Prior to starting a family, she also worked as a waitress and cook at the former "Mr. D's" Restaurant in Norristown.

She loved cooking, spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and taking care of any animal her children brought home to her. She is also remembered for her sharp wit and being a spelling maven.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 4 children:

Denise wife of Michael Rife;

Joseph Scaduto, Jr.;

Kathleen wife of Edward DiPietro;

Steve Scaduto husband of Anna Marie Trantas;

7 Grandchildren:  Larson Rife, Eddie DiPietro, Jr., Nick DiPietro, Ethan Rife, Parker Rife, Julianna DiPietro, and Daniel Scaduto.

Sister, Theresa wife of Lou Mancini.

She was preceded in death by her 3 sisters: Monica Sojkowski, Rosemary Madyar, and Barbara Biddle.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Black Rock Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in church on Wednesday from 8:45 to 9:45 am. Masks will be required while in church at the family's request.
