Lucy Jean Biehl (DiGiorgio), 85, wife of the late Art Biehl of Phoenixville, PA formerly of Philadelphia, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born on January 31, 1938 in South Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Tito and Lavina (Celedonio) DiGiorgio.

She work as a Medical Office Manager for various medical offices in the area.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

If you ever met Lucy, you never forgot her smile, compassion, and joy.  She was the sunshine in the room and always put you first no matter the circumstances.  Lucy was a true inspiration to her family and so many others for her kindness and positive, loving spirit.  No matter what challenges she faced, and there were many, she always put you first and wanted to know all that was going on in your life and how you felt.  She was truly one in a million.

She is survived by 5 children:
Donna wife of the late Jack Madden;
Kathy Simmonds;
Bob Simmonds;
Dawn wife of Tom Herrick;
Soni Biehl-Tanney wife of Rick Tanney

4 Grandchildren, Jennifer Roney, Keith McCullough and Jacqueline Sollazzo, Bob Price, and Tommy Herrick.

2 sisters and 2 brothers, Rita wife of the late Jim Triglia, Thomas husband of the late Nancy DiGiorgio, Edmond husband of Renee DiGiorgio, and Barbara wife of the late Bill Robins.

She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers, Sister Celeste DiGiorgio, MMS, Anne Pooler, Nick DiGiorgio, Ralph DiGiorgio, Marian Mancini, and Cass DiGiorgio.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. Daniel Arechabala officiating.

Interment will be private.

A viewing will be held in the chapel on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
