Lorraine V. (Bruno) Quinn, 88, wife of the late James Thomas Quinn, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully with family at home in Herndon, VA.

She was born on September 27, 1935 in Bridgeport, PA and was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth M. (Fusco) Bruno.

Lorraine grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Bridgeport High School. She started her career at Asbestos Insulating Company and worked there for many years. Later she was employed for many years by PMA Pediatrics.

She was a woman of deep faith. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and a member of the Association of the Miraculous Medal.

She loved music and dancing. You could always find her reading a novel, completing a crossword puzzle or working on a jigsaw puzzle. She also enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Lorraine and Jim enjoyed spending quality time with their family down the shore.

Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She rejoins the love of her life, Jim. Together they join their hands and hearts again in heaven.

She is survived by 5 children:

Theresa wife of Dave Cocci;

Sherry wife of Dave Womer;

Lorraine wife of Kent Close;

Elizabeth wife of Russ Wise;

James T. Quinn, Jr. husband of Marily Quinn.

9 Grandchildren: Matthew Cocci (fiancé Kaitlin Lassen), Ryan (Jenna) Womer, Patrick Womer, Samantha Close, Ava Wise, Ali Wise, Thomas Quinn, Patrick Quinn, and Andrew Quinn.

1 Great- granddaughter, Josie James Womer.

Sisters and brother, Theresa Borzillo, Gerald Bruno (Edie), Eleanor Korkus and Cecelia Redcay.

She loved her many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by Dolores and Frank DiGiambattista, Elizabeth and Donald Pashley, Margaret and Anthony Ottaviano, Richard and Pat Bruno, George Borzillo, Joseph Korkus and William Redcay.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Mary Black Rock Cemetery.

Visitation will be in chapel on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
