Linda Heming, a beacon of strength and love, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by her adoring family. Born in Norristown, PA on September 6, 1940, Linda was the cherished daughter of William and Nellie Gordon. She was the devoted wife of the late George Heming, Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love and laughter.
Linda's unparalleled work ethic was matched only by her passion for life's simple pleasures. She found immense joy in dancing, solving crossword puzzles, taking leisurely walks, and, above all, cherishing precious moments with her beloved family.
Her memory lives on through her four devoted children: Sharon (William McConaghy), Kim (Chris Botzum), George Heming, Jr. (Carol), and James (Bobbi Lynn). Linda was a doting grandmother to 11 grandchildren, David McConaghy, Kate McConaghy, Brett McConaghy, Mason Augustine, Devin Galambos, Amanda Mittnacht, Courtney Ferko, Candice Cannon, Ashley Kinney, Alicia Heming-Theodos, and the late Tyler Augustine. A proud great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Skylar, Sara, Noah, Emma, Theodore, Arthur, Reese, Penny, Crew, Nate, Callum, Lucille, Elanora, Liam, McKenna, and a great-grandson on the way and numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom brought immeasurable happiness in her life. She is also survived by two sisters, Margaret Ritschard and Cynthia Brady.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George, her dear brother, William Gordon, and her grandson Tyler. Though their absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, Linda's spirit continues to shine brightly through the memories they shared.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
A visitation will be held in church from 8:45 to 9:45 am.
