In Loving Memory of Linda Marie (Zebrowski) Brassington (1975-2024)
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Linda Marie (Zebrowski) Brassington, aged 49, on January 28, 2024, at her home in Phoenixville, PA. Linda, a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, left us peacefully after a courageous 15-year battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family and a few dear friends.
Born on January 12, 1975, to Robert and Elizabeth (Morris) Zebrowski, Linda grew into a remarkable woman whose warmth, resilience, and kindness touched everyone she met. She shared a beautiful and loving marriage with her devoted husband, Jonathan A. M. Brassington, with whom she built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Linda earned her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University. Her commitment to helping others shone brightly through her roles as a Board Member of Living Beyond Breast Cancer and a former member of the University of Pennsylvania's Abramson Cancer Center Leadership Council. Her battle with breast cancer only fueled her passion for supporting others facing similar challenges.
Linda's legacy lives on through her beloved sons, Luke Robert Brassington, a sophomore at Xavier University, Cole Jonathan Brassington, a freshman at Villanova University, and her loving dog Jazmine (Jazzy) who brought immense joy and comfort to her life. Her love, guidance, and wisdom have shaped Luke and Cole into the wonderful young men they are today. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth (Morris) Zebrowski, and sister, Sue Zebrowski, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond of sisterhood and friendship. Linda is also survived by her mother-in-law Esther, a wonderful group of brothers- and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins, and a spirited group of nieces and nephews (Sarah, Alex, Kevin, Staphanie, Maria, Kelly, Christian, Liam, Dominic, and Logan).
Linda's life was a beacon of hope, strength, and resilience, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to join us in celebrating her life during the Funeral Mass at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held in the church prior to the mass from 9:30 to 10:45 am. A private interment will take place following the funeral mass. The family plans to hold a celebration of Linda’s life in the Spring. Please feel free to share your memories of her with the family in advance of this celebration or as part of it. Details will be provided in early spring 2024.
In honor of Linda's passionate advocacy, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Living Beyond Breast Cancer at www.lbbc.org. While we mourn the loss of an incredible woman, we also celebrate her extraordinary life, her enduring impact, and the countless lives she touched with her generosity, love, and unwavering spirit.
Linda, your legacy and love will forever be in our hearts.
