Kathryn M. Sarnak

Kathryn M. "Kay" (Shewchuk) Sarnak, 91, wife of the late Joseph A. Sarnak, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Born on December 30, 1932 in Bridgeport, PA she was the daughter of the late Elia and Wasylina (Stoyka) Shewchuk.

She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Kay enjoyed bowling with her husband, cooking, and baking for her family.

She is survived by 4 children:

Beverly wife of James Viola;

Diane wife of Steven Poletti;

Joseph Sarnak, Jr.;

Kathy Schaffer.

7 Grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Dominic, Lauren, Christine, Max, and Jake,

4 Great-grandchildren, Elise, Carter, Nora, and Louis.

She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in the Chapel on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
