Kathleen Jansen

Kathleen M. (Bogus) Jansen, 73, wife of Leo Jansen of Phoenixville, PA died suddenly at home on Saturday, May 2, 2020.

Born on May 16, 1946 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Bogus, Sr. and Rita C. (Kennedy) Bogus.

She worked at Philadelphia Gear Company in King of Prussia for 49 years.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Phoenixville, PA.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 sons:

Joseph C. Simon, Jr. and wife Sasha;

Stephen M. Simon.

2 step-daughters:

Ingrid wife of Chuck Hangey;

Patricia wife of Robert Young.

Grandson, J.J.

7 step-grandchildren.

5 step great-grandchildren.

Brother, Joseph Bogus, Jr. and wife Karen.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chesney Sophia Simon.

A viewing will be held at Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Two guest will be permitted in at a time.  Those waiting outside the building are asked to please follow the social distancing guidelines.

A Private Family Service and burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
