Kate Katz

Kate W. Katz, 86, wife of Harold Katz of Phoenixville, PA on Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on November 14, 1929 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Max and Carola (Hess) Weil.

She worked as a teacher at the Kimberton Farms School and a substitute teacher for the Phoenixville Area School District.

She was an active member of Congregation B'nai Jacob in Phoenixville, PA. She served on the board of Phoenixville Area Childrens Learning Center. She was a prolific knitter for her friends near and far.

In addition to her husband she is survived by:

Son, Jeffrey Katz and his wife Theresa O'Connor;

Daughter, Sondra Katz and her husband Ethan Simon.

4 Grandchildren: Evan Connor and Laura Sean Katz; Molly Katz and Ezekiel Katz Simon.

Preceded in death by her brother, Seymour Weil.

Her Funeral Service will be held at Congregation B'nai Jacob, 101 Manavon Street, Phoenixville, PA on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 10:00 am with Rabbi Jeff Sultar officiating.

Burial will follow in B'nai Jacob Cemetery.
