Karen L. (Fisher) Van Horn, 63, beloved wife of George Van Horn of Collegeville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, June 28 , 2021.
Born May 14, 1958 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Arthur & Rose (Novak) Fisher.
Karen owned and operated K9 Designs Pet Paradise, Inc. in Collegeville for over 30 years and was proud of her work as a groomer. Outside of work, she was well loved and was viewed as a mother to all, frequently feeding and taking in any person or animal in need. She will be remembered for her selfless and unfailingly kind nature and will be missed.
In addition to her husband George, she is survived by her children: Gerald Groff, Jr., Shawn Van Horn, Jacky Rakowski, Nicola Martineau, Shelbi Van Horn, Dakota Roeder; 6 Grandchildren: Trey, Amelia, Jerry, Vaughn, Sophie, Valerie; her brother, Glenn Fisher; and her best friend of over 40 years, Donna Mowery.
A Celebration of Karen's life is currently being planned and details will be announced at a later date.
