Karen Kraynak

Karen Ann Kraynak, 62, of Phoenixville passed away in her home on Monday, October 11, 2021.

She was born in Phoenixville on January 28, 1959 to Richard and Marilyn (Millard) Kraynak.
Karen attended Sacred Heart Parochial School and graduated from Phoenixville High School, Class of 1976.  She was a graduate of Montgomery County Community College, earning an Associate Medical Degree, and later worked for Hewlett Packard and Almac Companies.

At Phoenixville High School, Karen was a four-year member of the Marching Band, and also was an accomplished pianist for the High School Chorus.

While in the Eighth Grade at Sacred Heart Parochial School,  Karen began her love of becoming a church organist, of which she enjoyed for the next 40 years, ending with the closing of Sacred Heart Church in 2012.  She was also an organist for Holy Trinity Catholic Church during those years.

Playing in small dance groups kept Karen's love for all types of music alive.  Karen loved her nieces and nephews very much and enjoyed spending time with them at all of their events..

In addition to her parents, Karen is survived by brother, Richard husband of Barbara Kraynak; sister, Kathy wife of Dennis Arney; nieces and nephews:  Janelle wife of Ryan Moran, Kristen(Goddaughter) wife of Brad Dalton, Ricky Kraynak, Ryan Arney, Brett Arney, and Troy Kraynak; and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA  on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:30 am.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A viewing will be held in the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:15 am.
