J. Scott Wassel

J. Scott Wassel, 68, husband of the late Deborah C. (Lureen) Wassel of Spring City, PA passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Born on December 7, 1949 in Phoenixville, PA he was a son of the late John and Madelyn (Miskiewicz) Wassel.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and then worked in sales and as service manager for various car dealerships in the area.

He is survived by step-daughter, Michelle (Kelley) wife of Kirk Adelsberger; step-grandchildren: Kevin, Kelley, and Konnor; brothers: Bruce husband of Jan Wassel and Jeff Wassel: niece and nephews: David Wassel, Adam Wassel, Lisa Hoffman, Larz Wassel, and Becky Wassel; father and mother-in-law Arnold and Rose Lureen; brother-in-law Brian husband of Joan Lureen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service from the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10:00 am

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
