Josephine A. "JoAnn" (Benyo) Brango, 70, wife of Carmen N. Brango of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Phoenixville Hospital.
She was born in Phoenixville on March 20, 1946 to the late Stephen and Stella (Kazmierczak) Benyo.
She was a 1964 graduate of St. Pius X High School.
She worked as a hairdresser first for herself at JoAnn's Colonial House of Styling and then at numerous salons in the Phoenixville area. JoAnn also worked at the Phoenixville Hospital as a Certified Nurse's Aide and Unit Clerk for 15 years.
JoAnn loved traveling to Mexico and the Jersey Shore and going out to dinner with friends. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Church.
In addition to her husband of 50 years she is survived by:
2 sons: Carmen J. and Nicole Brango; Michael and Jenney Brango
3 Grandchildren: Abbi, Adam, and Benjamin
Brother, Albert and Betty Benyo
Sisters-in-law: Sandra and Robert Lawrence; Mary Ann and Joseph Galli
Many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bernadine Marchionne and brother, Walter Benyo
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:45am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the National Centre for Padre Pio, PO Box 206, Barto, PA 19504.
