Joseph Winnick

Joseph P. Winnick, 81, husband of the late M. Berenice (Jefferis) Winnick of Jim Thorpe, PA, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019.
Born on December 27, 1937 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Costira) Winnick.
He was a 1957 graduate of Phoenixville High School.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Upon completion of his military service, he became a Police Officer for the Borough of Phoenixville in 1959, and retired from the Tredyffrin Township Police Department where he was a Detective for many years.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and a coin collector.

son, Michael, husband of Lisa Winnick of Chadds Ford, PA
son, Stephen, husband of Vicki Winnick of Phoenixville, PA

Longtime companion, Linda Cunningham.

8 grandchildren,
Austin, Tanner, Andrew, Matthew,
Nathan, Sophia, Gabriella, and Gavin Winnick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 South Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9:00 am. with Rev. Ihor Royik officiating. Burial will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Phoenixville.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.
