Joseph Simon, Sr.

Joseph C. Simon, Sr., 78, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at home.

Born on August 3, 1943 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Charles S. and Elizabeth (Evans) Simon.

He served in the United States Army.

He worked at Synthane-Taylor Corporationand retired from Container Corporation.

He was a life member of West End, Friendship Fire Company, and Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin any chance he could.

He is survived by loving companion Mary Ann Betley and 2 sons:
Joseph C. Simon, Jr;
Stephen M. Simon.

Grandson, JJ Simon.

2 sisters, Marguerite Sabol and twin sister, Betty Ann Shoemaker.

Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Chesney Sophia Simon, brother, Charles Simon, and half brother, Jack Rush.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.

A visitation will be in the Chapel on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
