Joseph A. Sarnak, Sr., 84, husband of Kathryn M. (Shewchuk) Sarnak, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Friday, July 1, 2016 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Garay) Sarnak.
Joseph served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church and the Holy Name Society.
He worked at the former Phoenix Steel Corporation for 34 years.

3 great-grandchildren,
Elise, Carter, Nora,
brother and sister,
Thomas Sarnak of Phoenixville, PA,
Marie wife of Jack Shoap of Cape May, NJ.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Stephen Sarnak and John Sarnak.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 8:45 am to 9:45 am.
